Recently my friends at MoveUp App planned a series of webinars titled, “Re-opening: People. Product. Profit”. Whenever it comes to reopening, it’s always a delicate balance between economies and safety, isn’t it? Especially when a vaccine isn’t found yet.
This got me started thinking about “the new normal” that the world is suddenly shoved into. Their MoveUp business is gaining traction really quickly in Vietnam and the Philippines, and it really got me thinking about the sort of economies we would see in both countries in the next 5-10years.
Upskilling, reskilling and a growth mindset would of course be very important moving forward, as the disruption cycle gets shorter and shorter and years pass. People and processes can be made redundant very easily, so it is always wise to think ahead as to what we can expect as economies “reopen”.
